Ryan was an obvious choice for SWALEC as brand ambassador as both brand and player shared the same values of supporting grassroots club rugby and developing the next generation of rugby stars. His performance and leadership qualities when he captained Wales to their second Grand Slam victory in three years, earned rave reviews from both the Welsh media and public.
Following three successful years of working with Wales’ grassroots clubs, the WRU and Ryan, SWALEC announced an extension to its partnership, which is testament to the strong relationship established between the two organisations. The four year agreement sees SWALEC invest significantly to support community rugby in Wales and continue as the National Leagues and Cup Sponsor.
Ryan has been instrumental in helping SWALEC deliver our sponsorship supporting community rugby through numerous initiatives across the country, whether it’s delivering a coaching session at Tonna RFC, visiting competition winners at the Millennium Stadium or providing coaching material to Welsh clubs, Ryan has delivered in his own personable, enthusiastic way, adding value to the experiences of rugby supporters.
We look forward to continuing to work with Ryan in the future and everyone at SWALEC would like to congratulate Ryan on being awarded his testimonial year and thank him for helping to make rugby in Wales that little bit better!
